Drafts save a sale without issuing it. There are two origins:
Automatic saving on transmission error applies to El Salvador branches. In Guatemala and the United States only the error is shown.

Open drafts

In Sales, the Drafts button shows in parentheses how many are pending. The screen is filtered by Pending, Processed, or All. Above the table, a summary shows the total number of drafts and how many are manual, with transmission error, or processed on the loaded page.

Process or retransmit

1

Choose the action

On a pending draft you will see Process (manual draft) or Retransmit (transmission error). Confirm the question that appears.
2

Indicate the payment method (if needed)

If the draft was saved without payment, you are asked how it is collected: Cash (with its payment method) or Credit (with the credit days).
3

Confirm

The sale is issued. If it goes through, the draft becomes Processed and the sale opens.
When you retransmit, the control number and the generation code of the previous attempt are reused, so the document keeps its identity. If it fails again, the draft stays pending and adds one attempt.

Review the error

View detail opens the draft with the lines, the totals, and, if there was an error:
  • Hacienda remarks, as returned by the tax authority.
  • Interpretation, a plain-language explanation of what needs to be corrected.
  • Technical detail and the attempt codes (control number and generation code).
  • The last attempt.

Delete a draft

The trash icon deletes a pending draft. It cannot be undone. Drafts that are already processed are not deleted: from them you open the sale with View sale.
If the draft is in a foreign currency, the amounts in that currency and the already-resolved rate are kept; when retrying, it is converted with the same rate. See Multi-currency.
