Fund movements

The fund detail shows all movements (date, type, document, debit, credit, balance, and journal entry). From there:

Customer payments into petty cash

A cash payment for a sale can go directly into a petty cash fund: when you record it, choose the fund in Destination of funds (see Accounts receivable). The payment appears as an income movement in the fund and increases its balance; if the payment is reversed, an adjustment that deducts it is recorded.

Accounting

Purchases paid from petty cash and payments that go into it are posted against the cash account when you process documents.
