Available only for businesses in El Salvador: the settlement corresponds to the Documento Contable de Liquidación (settlement accounting document, DTE 09) issued by the payment processor.
Sales collected by card are not deposited in full: the processor deducts the commission, the VAT on the commission and the 2% VAT withholding on the commissionable amount. The settlement records that transaction and generates its accounting entry.
