The POS is a full-screen interface designed to process sales quickly. It is optimized for counter use, a physical cash register, or a touchscreen.
POS sales require an open cash register. The system will show an alert if there is no active cash register.
POS sales are issued with the numbering of the point of sale at which the cash register was opened. If the branch has several points of sale, each cash register (for example P001 and P002) carries its own sequence of control numbers.

Main screen

The screen is divided into two panels:
  • Left — product catalog filtered by category.
  • Right — shopping cart with totals and the charge button.

Add products

  • Click the product card to add it to the cart. Each additional click increases the quantity.
  • Search by name or SKU in the top search bar.
  • Filter by category by clicking the category tags.

Custom payment

Lets you split the payment across multiple methods:
1

Click Charge → Custom

2

Select the first method and its amount

3

Add more methods until the total is covered

4

Available payment methods

  • Bills and coins (cash)
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Bank transfer / deposit
  • Check
  • Bitcoin
  • Other cryptocurrencies

Document currency

If the company has active foreign currencies, the cart shows the Document currency selector. When you choose a currency, the cart prices are converted at the current rate (or your own rate) and payment is made in that currency. The currency is locked as soon as the first payment is added. See Multi-currency.
The branch option Final consumer invoice prices include tax does not apply to the POS yet; it is only used in New sale.

Change calculation

When paying in cash, enter the amount received. The system automatically calculates the change to return. You can also enter it by bill denomination ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100).

Customer and document

Select the customer from the POS header or quickly create one with the + button. You can also select the type of document to issue. When the sale is confirmed, the system can automatically print the receipt on a connected thermal printer.

Customer display

The Customer display button opens a second window intended for a customer-facing monitor. It shows in real time the products added, the promotions applied, and the total; when the sale is finished it shows a thank-you message.
1

At the point of sale, click Customer display

2

Drag the window to the second monitor and make it full screen (F11)

Both windows must be opened in the same browser and computer. If the browser blocks the pop-up window, allow pop-ups for FileXpress.
