# Salespeople

> Salesperson registration and commission report

The salespeople module lets you assign sales to a salesperson and calculate their commissions.

## Register a salesperson

**1. Go to Salespeople → New**

**2. Enter name, email and phone**

**3. Set the commission rate (%)**

Percentage applied to the subtotal of sales without taxes. If left empty, the salesperson does not generate commission.

**4. Mark as Active and save**

When issuing a sale, you select the salesperson who made it.

## Commission report

Select a date range and click **Query**. The report shows:

| Indicator | Description |
| - | - |
| **Total sales** | Number of sales in the period. |
| **Subtotal (without taxes)** | Base on which the commission is calculated. |
| **Estimated total commission** | Sum of commissions of all salespeople. |

And, per salesperson: number of sales, subtotal, rate and estimated commission.
