# Roles and permissions

> What each type of user can do in the system

FileXpress Hub has two user roles. The administrator defines what each user can do within the system.

## Available roles

> [card] Administrator
>
> Full access to all modules enabled in the subscription. Can manage users, assign permissions and configure the business.

> [card] User
>
> Access only to the modules and actions the administrator has assigned. Cannot manage other users or change global settings.

## Granular permissions (User role)

The administrator can configure exactly what each user can do:

| Permission type | Description |
| - | - |
| **Modules** | Which sections they can view, create, edit or delete |
| **Documents** | Which types of DTE (invoices, credit notes, etc.) they can issue |
| **Branches** | Which of the business's branches they can access |
