# Projects

> Project management with tracking of associated sales and payrolls

The projects module lets you organize work by projects linked to customers, with tracking of associated sales and payrolls.

## Project statuses

| Status | Description |
| - | - |
| **Planned** | In the planning phase, not yet started. |
| **In Progress** | Active work underway. |
| **On Hold** | Temporarily paused. |
| **Completed** | Successfully finished. |
| **Cancelled** | Project canceled. |

## Create a project

**1. Go to Management → Projects → New Project**

**2. Enter the main details**

* **Name** of the project.
* **Customer** it belongs to (required).
* **Start date** and end date (optional).
* Assigned **budget**.
* **Initial status** (default: Planned).
* Optional **description**.

**3. Save**

## View a project's detail

When you open a project you can see:

* **Associated sales** — all the invoices and sales documents linked to the project.
* **Associated payrolls** — the pay slips where this project was assigned.

## Filter projects

The list shows a **summary** (projects, in progress, completed and total budget) and can be filtered by status or searched by name or description. In the detail view, the status is changed by clicking the status tag in the header.

> When creating a payroll or a sale, you can optionally link it to the corresponding project to centralize cost and income tracking by project.
